Hi Rainer, we have settled in nicely. Shana and Steve have been helpful with some minor things such as keys and they were kind enough to leave a bottle of cava and roses for our anniversary. Our sons arrive today for 10 days so we are busy getting in the food they like. Your villa is great and I am sure we will have a wonderful time. Thanks for everything. Joe. You should try the grapefruits, oranges and lemons as these are the best I have tasted. The pool is great although I only tried it a few times, April is a bit early in the year. The terrace is a sun trap and the kitchen is well appointed although a new microwave wouldn't go amiss. The hosts are very helpful and respond quickly. (review after the stay).

“Holiday in a lovely house in Malaga, Benalmagéna. After traveling from DK we arrived late Friday night at the house to receive a nice welcome from the housekeeper. He had followed us by txt message and helping us to find the right way out of Malaga. Easy to find with the gps and Housekeeper's guided directions. Arriving to the house the girls said; " It was just like coming home and granddad standing in the doorway to greet your welcome". The beds were made, clean towels lying ready on the beds and the fridge filled with the food we ordered......and ice cold beer. After a quick snack we went to bed. The girls upstairs and the adults in the basement. The nights down here are so quiet and in the morning we were woken up by the singing birds outside. Next morning mother and daughter walking down the streets to the grocery, shopping at Lidl just down the hill. They had everything we needed for our breakfast. Breakfast on the sunny terrace and just enjoying our first day in Spain in the sun and trying out the pool. The girls had a lot of fun by and in the pool all week.....even though it was a bit chilly... 21 degrees top.....but that is even better than the water at the sea in Dk in the summer. The house is lovely. Has everything we needed. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook lovely meals. And the grocery shop, just when you turn to the right in the roundabout near Lidl and then go a few hundred meters, has many different fresh fish and meat. We made spare ribs and chicken wings on the big barbecue.....and the girls loved us! Malaga in April have even better and warmer weather, than in Dk, but we still had a few days with clouds and rain. No worries. The Dolfinarium in Malaga is worth a visit and the housekeeper helped us find a big shopping center just 5 km from our Villa on the road again in the rented car.....and the girls loved us even more.... During our stay we were contacted by the housekeeper several times, just for checking out if we were doing ok and giving us some practical tips for the house and pool and giving us some tips for nice areas and restaurants in Malaga. They gave us our privacy and still letting us feel very good taken care of. In the basement there were a washer for clothes. And just outside our bedroom there were and area where it could dry, away from the rain. Just near by the pool the lemon tree was growing....still had lemons on....for our cooking, Coronas and soft drinks. Last day in the sun the sun beds were lined up on the big terrace and we could stay in the sun until the late afternoon. Some of the children went inside when it was too hot and placed them...”

“Kuukauden majoittuminen hienossa villassa ja kauniissa ympäristössä oli mitä mainioin kokemus. Kävelymatkan päässä oleva Arroyo de la Mielen keskusta tarjosi kaikki palvelut ja kiipeäminen takaisin mäelle hoiti kuntoiluosuuden. Mahtavat maisemat ja ihanat appelsiinit ja greipit suoraan puutarhasta aamiaspöytään.

Lähettyvillä  aluva talonhoitaja oli mitä avuliain asunnon esittelyssä ja aina, jos oli jotain kysyttävää.

Junayhteys lentokentän kautta Malagaan sekä toiseen suuntaan Fuengirolaan on erittäin kätevä.”

“Blev upphämtade från flygfältet av hjälpsamma grannar. Huset välutrustat med fantastisk utsikt. Fin terrass, stor pool, fruktträd mm. Hyrde huset för 2 månader och åker gärna igen.”
